Special Thanks to Microsoft for the swag bags
given to all eGirl Power participants!

The Microsoft field trip started with a scavenger hunt in the Microsoft store on 5th Avenue that set the stage for learning to code with Kodu, a visual programming language made specifically for creating games.

eGirl Power participants learned how to build their own world in Kodu as they created a landscape and added characters.

eGirl Power members learned how to:

• Develop and build a Kodu landscape

• Add elements like buildings, water, trees, and characters

• Program character interactions and movements

The group enjoyed pizza afterwards :)
