Howard Gardner is Hobbs Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He presented the theory of multiple intelligences for the first time in 1983 in the book Frames of Mind. Since then, the theory has been used in a wide variety of contexts and most frequently in education with students of all levels.
