About the Girl Power AAPI Initiative

eGirl Power launched the AAPI Initiative in response to the significant increase of anti-Asian hate crimes and hate incidents since the global Covid pandemic began. Although the hate crime murder of six Asian females in Atlanta, GA on March 16, 2021 brought Asian hate to the attention of nation, anti-AAPI discrimination has a longstanding history. eGirl Power's AAPI Initiative provides a "Dedicated Safe Space for AAPI Girls" to Connect, Share and Learn. Goals of the eGirl Power AAPI Initiative are to "Educate, Empower and Elevate" and unite efforts with the broader community to #StopAsianHate #StopAAPIHate.
