Youth Leadership Summit

At the eGirl Power Youth Leadership Summit on “Make a Difference Day”, Mintz and Guest Speaker Loreen Arbus mentored girls, who also spent the day supporting several social causes. At community service stations led by an MI9 Team superhero and eGirl Power Ambassador, participants volunteered to support girls' education in developing countries, girls in hospitals and female veterans. more


PIFA Awards Gala

Mintz co-chaired the PIFA Awards Gala at the Yale Club NYC Grand Ballroom to raise awareness and support for eGirl Power's mission and programs for gender equality and girls’ education. The PIFA Awards Gala is a special event to honor distinguished honorees who have dedicated their lives to giving back, and celebrate paying it forward and inspire others to take action. more


Women's Movement Workshop

At this educational workshop for eGirl Power members, students learned about the history of the Women's Movement, which was held shortly before the Women's Equality Day. After studying the waves of feminism and important facts about gender inequality today, girls prepared for their Media Presentations on Women's Equality Day. more

 


Pow Wow Workshops

Through a combination of educational workshop exercises, engaging discussions, career exploration, guest presentations and creative PSA activities, the eGirl Power Pow Wow Workshop is a fun-filled and team-building 2 day event that empowers high school girls to build confidence and self-esteem, gain self-awareness of their personal strengths, and identify and develop leadership characteristics. more


Film Screening

Mintz and her team held this film screening event in Manhattan which brought together local representatives, community leaders and nonprofit organizations to support the youth making a positive impact. Following the premiere of her organization's Project Pay It Forward film and several guest speakers, Mintz awarded a grant to high school students in recognition of their contributions to the community. more


Scholarship Contests

Long before the national student debt crisis reached and surpassed $1 Trillion USD, Mintz and her 501c3 nonprofit organization were actively working to support students through awareness and opportunities for individuals struggling with the costs of higher education and student loan debt. At Student Body TV Scholarship Contests, students competed before a panel of judges for their chance to earn money for school. more.
